Kushi Tsuru: Authentic Japanese Food

The food here is very good and is served authentically. The restaurant also has a big selection of sushi including unique house specialty rolls. Authentic Japanese prints and curtains decorate the walls. It usually has quite a few people in it but is never too crowded. The restaurant can get kind of hot because there are only authentic Japanese curtains in front of the entrance to the kitchen instead of doors. However, every time my family goes to Japantown around when it’s time to eat we almost always go there. The food is so good here! I definitely encourage you to try this place!

Tofu House: Outstanding Korean Food

This Korean restaurant has amazing food and is usually somewhat full with people. So Gong Dong Tofu House can be crowded for dinner but usually not as crowded for lunch with only a few groups of people from their nearby offices and a few others. The walls are painted brightly giving the place a lively atmosphere. Also, in corners and nooks pieces of traditional Korean clothing such as hats, sandals and shoes are used as decorations.

A few things I recommend:

Haemul Dolsot Bibimbob or Seafood Rice Bowl
Dak Gui or Korean Barbecued Chicken
Galbi also known as Kalbee or Korean Barbecued Short Ribs

Also, if you love spicy food there is a wide selection of stuff that’s spicy.

If you are vegetarian there are a lot of things made with just tofu instead of meat.

Siam Royal: Great Thai Cuisine

Siam Royal has great food and a great atmosphere. Lots of pictures and decorations make it look authentic in a beautiful way. The servers always have smiles on their faces and the chefs always are ready to prepare your food and are quick. One problem is that there are no places for kids to play.

Coconut Juice
Spicy Mango Chicken
Thai Iced Tea
Drunken Noodles

(Most dishes can be made spicy or mild.)
